The Procedure
Platysmal band of muscles (the strips of muscle which stick out in the neck) accentuate any ‘jowls’ and pull down on the lower side of the face. Our Nefertiti Facelift relaxes platysmal muscles which improve definition of the jawline, redefining the lines of the jaw and neck for a youthful, tighter, more contoured appearance without surgery.
The neck and jawline are usually forgotten about in favour of facial anti-wrinkle injections, however, age can be given away by more than lines and wrinkles. Increasing the definition of the jaw and softening the neck gives your entire face a more youthful shape, leaving your skin looking fresh and smooth.

How it works
Our facelift technique involves the precise placement of multiple injections of Botulinux toxin along the jawline and down the side of the neck.
The Platysmal muscles in the neck are commonly responsible for causing ‘jowls’ on the face, due to sustained contraction over the course of our lifetimes, by relaxing these muscles the downward pull on the face is diminished, allowing the jaw line to lift back to its natural position, reducing saggy skin and giving a tighter, more defined appearance.

Is it painful?
Topical anaesthetic is used prior to the procedure so any discomfort is minimal.
What will I look like immediately after treatment?
A small amount of swelling is possible for a short period of time after the procedure but this usually settles within 30 minutes.

As with all procedures using anti-wrinkle injections the procedures are very safe when carried out by an experienced professional.
