ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
Fine lines and wrinkles are unavoidable as we age, but using the naturally occurring protein Botulinum Toxin you can relax the facial muscles, smoothing the appearance of wrinkles for 3-4 months. The result is a softer, more relaxed and heartier appearance.
Our injections offer immediate and effective results for crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead furrows and more. This is our most commonly performed treatment, giving our patients a subtle but completely refreshed appearance.

Many wrinkles are caused by repetitive motions taking place thousands of times over our lifetime such frowning and smiling. Our muscles begin to lastingly contract in these areas, causing deeper and more enduring lines. Carefully injected Botulinum Toxin relaxes contracted facial muscles by blocking certain chemical signals from nerves. This results in a softened appearance of wrinkles which have already formed, and often prevent new wrinkles from forming.
It can also be used to treat excessive sweating, similarly by blocking the nerve signals which trigger production of sweat.
What will Anti-Wrinkle Injections do for my appearance?
Repetitive motions of the skin in the face can cause muscles to permanently contract in certain unwanted ways, for example frown lines or crow’s feet. The injection will relax these contracted muscles, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles giving you smoother, softer looking skin.
What areas can be treated with Anti-Wrinkle Injections?
Anti-Wrinkle injections can be used in a variety of areas on the face such as:
• Forehead furrows
• Crows feet
• Frown lines (between eyebrows)
• Bunny lines
• Smile lift
• Lipstick / Smokers lines
Our Botulinum Toxin injections can also be used on the underarms, inhibiting the production of excessive sweat.
When will I start to see the results?
The effects of your treatment will start to become apparent after a few days as the muscles start to relax, taking between 10-14 days for the full effect to be seen.
How long will the results last for?
Results will last up to 3-4 months, but this can vary between individuals. Some patients require less frequent treatments over time as the muscles ‘retrain’ and weaken from disuse.
Can anyone get Anti-Wrinkle Injections?
Most people are eligible for Anti-Wrinkle Injections, but we will go through a health check in our initial consultation. Allergies and sensitivities to the substances used will also need to be checked before treatment can take place.
Is it painful?
We use very fine needles to perform the injections, many feel a mild sensation. Pain tolerance varies from patient to patient, but it will not be very painful.
What will I look like immediately after treatment? Will my face appear ‘frozen’?
It takes a few days for the smoothing effect to begin, but there may be some swelling, and in some cases some mild bruising. Our highly experienced team know how much to inject to each area and you will retain a natural appearance, while appearing fresher and younger. The ‘frozen’ look which has given Anti-Wrinkle injections a tainted reputation have resulted from irresponsible overuse, built up over multiple treatments.
Is it safe?
When carried out by a trained professional, anti-wrinkle injections are safe. At Spirit Rejuvenation we have an extensive knowledge of anatomy, medical knowledge and certifications in the products that we use.
Mild side effects may occur, such as rashes, swelling or bruising. We will be there post treatment to answer any questions and address any concerns if you notice any of these side effects.
